The Girl

The aforementioned Southern Girl goes by the name of Christi Dysart.  Born and raised in Texas by a mother in education and a father in the meatpacking business, Christi has a deep appreciation for the never-ending adventure that is learning.  And for red meat.

She is married to her college sweetheart and has three rowdy boys.  Long Beach, California is the place she calls home….a large community that has magically captured a small-town charm.

Christi has always loved language.  Which is a nice way of saying ‘Christi has always talked a lot’.  And whether reading it or telling it, she cannot resist a good story.  These are her stories.  Some are real and some are not.  But most are a delicious mix of the two.

You may not know this, Christi, but I love your little ditties. I just realized that I may have never commented, so I’m doing it now. I don’t love any one more than another, and I stopped eating pop-tarts years ago so I can’t remember if they are a good breakfast food (though I do remember my own mother sending us out the door with them on more than one occasion–she said they came in packs of two so that I could share with my brother) and my afternoon cup of tea came with a snowflake reflected in it today. All the best to you.
